Re-center Camera

Kodu allows you to re-center the camera in edit mode when it gets "lost". Typically this happens when manipulating the camera with the mouse and you end up with the whole world in a bubble (see image).

  • F4 brings the camera back to a reasonable position.
  • Tab cycles focus through all of the characters in the world.

Camera Usage

You can navigate the world by zoom in/out, orbit, drag, and pitch the camera. You can make the world bigger/smaller; spin the world; make the world go sideways; move the world to the left and right. You can move the camera around to see the result. You can change the camera’s perspective from a bird’s eye view to a side-view. You can orbit the camera so that the land looks like it is spinning.  You can zoom in and zoom out.  You can zoom out and create more terrain. While zooming out, you can quickly navigate the world to paint terrain.
